PRIVATE YOGA in COPPERAS COVE,TX

Work with Noelani Perry!

I serve men and women in Copperas Cove, Kempner, Lampasas, Killeen, Harker Heights (Greater Fort Hood, Texas area). I can help you manage:

Stress Management Yoga Help (Symptoms of PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia etc)
Back, Neck, Joint Pain and Stiffness
Injury Recovery
Preparation for upcoming surgeries and post-operative rehabilitation
High blood pressure and heart disease
Challenges of Pregnancy and Recovery after Childbirth
Diastasis Recti
Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Your private sessions will not simply be a group class taught to one person. We will make time to converse and discuss your concerns and goals, I will observe and instruct you, and you will learn what YOU can DO ON YOUR OWN to manage your stress, attain your wellness goals, move better etc.

“I am a beginner and had never taken any kind of class before Noelani. She watched me and was able to pin point how I could improve each pose I was struggling with. Not every person is built the same and she helped me customize each pose to fit me. Having her as an instructor for one class taught me more than any video ever would. Highly recommend this lovely lady!”

WHAT TO EXPECT

Working with me begins with a **free 20 minute pre-screening consultation** valued at $25. You will complete a screening questionnaire and we will schedule your phone consultation. If we are a good fit, we will schedule your first session, and discuss the right package for follow-up work. I offer follow-up private yoga sessions as packages because I believe that once people commit to the discipline of practicing on their own (i.e. without the direct support of a teacher or the camaraderie of a group class) that they will need proficient and compassionate attention and long term support.

I currently see clients at:

  • My private studio in Copperas Cove, TX
  • YMCA Wellness Center in Harker Heights, or the Copperas Cove location (if you are a YMCA member)
  • The comfort of your own home (within the Greater Fort Hood area), at no extra charge.
  • Other affiliated businesses in the area

THE FIRST SESSION

All rates shown here are for individuals (one person).
NOTE: If you are a YMCA member the rate is lower and the first intake session is 60 minutes instead of 75 mins.

Investment: $70/75 mins

  • 20 min pre-consultation phone session valued at $25
    • This is a "screening" session. There is an online application form that I will have you complete. I will review this to prepare for your phone consultation. This is pretty much a "getting to know you" session to make sure that you and I are a good fit.
  • 75 minute intake, holistic assessment and home practice valued at $75
    • If we agree to work together, you will be completing your intake form online. All information that you share will be kept confidential. The more information you provide on your intake form, the better, so that when we meet for your first session we can focus on structural assessment and other areas.
    • Holistic assessment means an assessment not just of your physical/structural issues but of the other layers or dimensions of your lifestyle. I am qualified to review your sleep habits, digestion and offer support and guidance with some mental/emotional stressors and make recommendations based on Yogic practices.
  •  Take Home Resource Documentation of personalized practice and homework
    • I will provide your a resource sheet as a reminder of what I will prescribe you for your home practice. I will encourage you to practice on your own, at a time that you can commit to. My aim is to provide you a practice that addresses what you want, and is able to give you what I see that you need to restore balance in your daily life. If appropriate, I will also be providing you other recommendations that are either Yogic-based and/or scientifically-supported.
  • Total Value: $95 Cost to you: $70
    • You have a total time of 105 minutes with me (phone consultation and in-person time). I will make sure that whatever I assign to you is something that you CAN do and CAN work towards to.

FOLLOW-UP PACKAGES

I offer follow-up private yoga sessions as packages because I believe that once people commit to the discipline of practicing on their own (i.e. without the direct support of a teacher or the camaraderie of a group class) that they will need proficient and compassionate attention and long term support. Through regular follow-ups, I will work with you to determine if your practice is working  or not, and I can help you monitor your progress and improvement. Follow-ups can be as frequent as every two weeks, and I suggest not more than 4-6 weeks of an interval between sessions.

“When I first started working with Lani, all I knew of Yoga was it looked hard. However Lani’s ongoing patience and encouragement kept my head in it. She is calm and didn’t mind my middle-aged unbalanced bumbling. I was fortunate enough to have her instruct in a two on one setting and it was perfect for a beginner like me. I feel confident in the foundation she taught us and ready to take my wobbly skills to a more public space. Thanks again Lani, Namaste.”

MY WELLNESS TOOLBOX

These are the tools that I use for private and therapeutic yoga. All practices are  conformed to the needs, interest and goals of the client.

1.    Integrative Restoration (iRest®): See the page devoted to iRest here.
2.    Posture Practices: These help to ease physical tension, identify habitual body movement patterns, improve strength, coordination, balance and joint range of motion. Blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps are used as necessary.
3.    Breathing Exercises: These help to directly influence the mind and body at the level of the autonomic nervous system, can help promote the Relaxation Response, or can also help uplift mood and energy. These include but are not limited to lengthening the inhalation and or exhalation, working in breath ratios, etc.
4.    Meditation, Positive Affirmations and Sound: This helps build new neural pathways in the brain, and can modify behavior, attitude, and overall well-Being.
5.    Encouraging Self-Study and Lifestyle/Dietary Changes: This is a "work-in" instead of a "work-out", to ensure that you are on the road to wellness across all the dimensions of your personality.

6.    MuTu® System: This is a medically endorsed program that includes exercise workouts, postural, dietary and lifestyle approaches to help restore and rebuild core and pelvic floor function. This is appropriate for both men and women but was originally designed for women who have given birth and have diastasis recti, pelvic floor dysfunction, flabby tummy, or just want to get back in shape.
